CORRI LA VITA
THE PROJECT
CORRI LA VITA is the most important charity event in Italy that combines sport, culture and solidarity and will pass through the streets of Florence Sunday 29 September offering all participants the free opening of dozens of museums and buildings, bringing with it a strong message of solidarity for the fight against breast cancer.
Founded in 2003 on the initiative of the president Bona Frescobaldi and organized by Associazione CORRI LA VITA Onlus, the non-competitive sporting event helps women affected by breast cancer and finances projects regarding the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
In the previous 21 editions it has collected and distributed over 8,723,000 euros, bringing together over 480,000 participants and allowing quality care for
over 500,000 women.
